Nigeria face Australia in group B cracker today, Thursday July 27.

Nigeria Super Falcons will today, Thursday, July 27 take on the Matildas of Australia in a group B match of the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

Australia will start the game in second place with Nigeria two points behind in third place in group B.

The Randy Waldrum tutored Super Falcons will try to stop World Cup co-hosts Australia from reaching the knockout round with a game to spare.

The match will kick-off by 11am at the Brisbane Stadium in Australia with the co-hosts banking on the massive home support against a Nigeria Super Falcons team that has not lost in five games.

Meanwhile, Canada defeated debutants, Republic of Ireland 2-1 on Wednesday to mathematically eliminate the European side from contention for a knockout place with a game against Nigeria to spare.
