This year’s International Wheelchair Basketball Federation (IWBF) African Para Games qualifiers will take place from 12th to 14th May in Accra, Ghana.

The Nigerian contingent comprises of 8 players and 4 officials led by NWBF Secretary General, Aliyu Mohammed.

Ahead of the team’s departure, leader of the delegation, Aliyu Mohammed hailed the NWBF President for his immeasurable efforts at ensuring Nigeria attends the qualifier and boosts to inspire a podium finish in Ghana.

He said, “The players are indeed thankful to the newly elected President, Seyi Johnson for his quick intervention.
