Nigerian Community in New York, USA endorses Adams for Mayor, Durosinmi, Onuorah, Ogunleye for Council seats Saturday

The Nigerian Community in New York City (NYC) will come out in full force tomorrow, Saturday, June 5, 2021 to endorse Eric Adams as their candidate for the office of Mayor.

Adams is a frontrunner for the primaries holding on June 22 and for the general election scheduled for November 2, 2021.

The endorsement by the Nigerian Community is expected to be a major boost for his candidacy.

Candidates for City Council positions, to be equally endorsed at the event that will hold at the Kudirat Abiola Corner by the Nigerian House are Chris Durosinmi (City Council 37th District), Dr. George Onuorah (City Council 21st District) and Ranti Ogunleye (City Council 49th District).

The program, which is being put together by Nigerian-American Public Affairs Committee (NAPAC) New York chapter, will run from 10:00 AM to 12:00 AM and those attending are encouraged to come dressed in their branded Nigerian outfits and attires.
