

Justice Sylvanus Adiewere Nsofor, Nigeria’s Ambassador to the United States, has died, aged 85 on Thursday night.
From Oguta, in Imo State, Justice Nsofor was born on March 17, 2020 and studied Law in the United Kingdom (1962) where he also earned an LL.M degree at the London School of Economics, LSE, in 1964.
He was a Judge of the Imo State High Court and served meritoriously as as a Justice of the Court of Appeal for 13 years before retirement in 2005.
He became Nigeria’s Ambassador to the US on November 13, 2017.
There are as yet, no official confirmation of the passage of the eminent jurist, but usually authoritative sources have confirmed the demise of the father of lawyers.
