Nneoma Lolo Nwokorie Comfort Nwadinafor of Umuariam Obowo, goes home, Friday, June 19, 2026
The family of late Chief Nwokorie Michael Ndudi (Nwaeze Efulamba) of Umutukuru, Nnachioma, Umuariam, Obowo Local Government Area of Imo State will from Monday, June 15, 2026, begin the burial programme for their cherished Matriarch, Nneoma Lolo Nwokorie Comfort Nwadinafor (nee Onyemaobi).
Nneoma Lolo Nwokorie, a much beloved mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, passed on to glory at the age of 83 and is being celebrated globally for the life of great positive impact that she lived.
A notice by Omekannaya Elieazar Elie Oluchukwu Nwokorie, on behalf of the family, said that in Nigeria, there will be a Service of Songs on Monday June 15, 2026 at 72 Nkwerre Street, Umuahia, Abia State from 4:00pm.
On Thursday, June 18, 2026, from 6:00pm, a Christian Wake Keep will hold at Umuariam Obowo LGA, Imo State in further celebration of the mother in a million.
The body of the departed Matriarch will leave Madonna Mortuary, Aba Road, Umuahia, Abia State at 7:00 am on Friday, June 19, 2026 and arrive Umuariam for a Funeral Church Service that will start at 10:00am at St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Umuariam, Obowo LGA, Imo State.
Interment will follow after the Mass at her husband’s compound in Umuariam Obowo immediately after the Church Service, while refreshments will follow the interment at Central School, Umuariam Obowo, beside St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Umuariam Obowo LGA in Imo State.
On Sunday, June 21, 2026, a Thanksgiving Service to round off the programme will be held at St. Peter’s Anglican Church Umuariam Obowo LGA, Imo State from 9:00am.
Dignitaries from all over the world will grace the home going programme for the highly respected community leader, philanthropist and mother of accomplished children.
She is also being mourned by countless people, at home and abroad, whose lives she touched positively in many ways, through acts of kindness, wise counsel or motherly care.
