Dallas, Texas, United States of America (USA) saw the sea of lights of the Light Up Crusades of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Friday night.

The occasion was the grand finale of the Workers and Ministers Conference of the RCCG The Americas. The Conference, with the theme While It Is Day started on Wednesday, June 15 and rounded off with the Light Up Dallas Crusade, with the theme, The Hand of The Lord. The Conference and the Crusade are also part of celebration of the 30th Anniversary of the coming of the RCCG to the USA.

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye and his wife, Pastor (Mrs.) Folu Adeboye and other Anointed Ministers of God ministered during the Conference and the Crusade which had as Host, the Assistant General Overseer (AGO) and Continental Overseer for The Americas, Pastor James Fadel.

There were life transforming messages, fervent prayers, inspired praise and worship sessions, prophetic declarations and testimonies of the faithfulness of God, made manifest through miracles, signs and wonders, including the miracles of the healing of hundreds of people during the Light Up Dallas Crusade.

The Light Up Crusades started during the run up to the 80th birthday celebration of Pastor Adeboye earlier in the year. It is a soul winning platform the target of which is to win 80 million people to Jesus Christ. The mega crusades have been held in at least 80 cities in Nigeria and outside the country with multitudes surrendering their lives to Jesus and miracles, signs and wonders, especially miraculous healing of the sick happening at the venues.

Using John 9:4: “I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work,” as anchor scripture during the Workers and Ministers Conference, Pastor Adeboye, in different teachings, challenged the Workers and Ministers to do much more than they have done so far, especially in soul winning, church planting and doing exploits for God.

He, for instance, revealed that one of his visions is that one day the Governing Council of the Church will hold its meeting on the moon and that the person who would build the space craft that would take the members of the Council to the meeting would be a member of the Church.

He also told the meetings that as part of God’s favour upon the Church and the spiritual transportation (divine speed) the RCCG has been enjoying, the Redeemers University of Nigeria (RUN), owned by the Mission and set up about 17 years ago emerged from a recent grading of all universities in the country by the Nigerian education authorities as second best overall, beating many other universities that are far older than it, some established as far back as 60 years ago and thereabouts.

Pastor Fadel in his exhortations also charged the Workers and Ministers to get up and go! He confirmed that the General Overseer had since his arrival in The Americas, which encompasses North, Central and South America, held Light Up Crusades in Detroit, Toronto and Dallas, and challenged the Workers and Ministers to replicate the crusades in their cities without delay.

In all, Dallas and the other cities in The Americas that hosted the Light Up Crusades saw the light of God in a totally new dimension and can never remain the same after the experiences.

What is left is for the Workers, Ministers and, indeed all children of God to follow up, and do ‘the works of Him that sent’ each individual while it is day, having the full assurance that He will carry each individual that pleases Him in His great Hands.
