Peter Obi pays last respects to late Prof. Osuji, Ezinne Omehia


In a post on his X (former Twitter) handle, Mr. Obi, former Governor of Anambra State said that the former Minister who was laid to rest in his home town “was an illustrious Nigerian, who contributed immensely to the development of our dear nation, especially in the area of education,” and urged them “to uphold the good legacies their father left behind.”
Mr. Obi, who travelled to Mbaise from Ubima in Rivers State, where he joined former Governor of the state, Celestine Omehia, his friends and associates to pay last respects to their late mother, Ezinne Cecilia Omehia who was buried same Saturday, condoled with the Osuji and Omehia families and prayed God to grant the departed eternal rest and the families and all others fortitude to bear the irreplaceable losses.
He also prayed God to continue to protect and bless the families of the departed.
