Among those who were there to witness the occasion were Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, Senate President, Bukola Saraki, Speaker, House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, immediate past National Chairman of the party, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, Chairman, Convention Committee and Jigawa State Governor Badaru Abubakar and the new executives, led by ex-Governor Adams Oshiomhole.
