The Nigerian Academy of Engineering recently inducted Mr. Alfred .I .Okoigun, the Group Managing Director, GMD, of Arco Group Plc, as an Honorary Fellow at the Eko Hotel and Suites in Lagos.
The programme, which had as Guest Speaker, a former Vice Chancellor of the University of Lagos, Prof Oye Ibidapo-Obe, had in attendance the Group Managing Director, Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Engr. Dr. Maikanti Baru, the Managing Director, Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria, Mr. Osagie Okunbor, President, Nigerian Academy of Engineering, Engr (Mrs.) Joanna .O. Maduka and the Group General Manager, Group Public Affairs Division (NNPC), Mr. Ndu Ughamadu.
The theme of the programme, which featured many other distinguished guests, was ‘Engineering Innovation and Last – Mile Development: Towards a Synergy Between Investors and Research.’
