RCCG begins 67th Annual Convention, Monday, August 5; Theme: ‘And God Said’

ual Convention of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, begins on Monday, August 5, 2019 and would end on Sunday, August 11, 2019.

The Convention, with the theme, ‘And God Said’ is beginning on the high ground of the good news of the release of Ministers of the Church who were kidnapped on Thursday night while coming to attend the Annual Ministers Conference that usually precedes the Convention.

The Annual Convention is a major program in the calendar of the Church and features the ordination of Deacons, Deaconesses, Assistant Pastors and Pastors of RCCG.

The Convention, which will hold at the New Auditorium of the Redemption Camp on Kilometer 46, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Nigeria will feature the General Overseer of the Church, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye ministering with other Anointed Ministers of God.

Already, Pastors and other Clergy men and women have started gathering at the Camp Ground while many others and millions of worshipers from all over the world would be physically present in Nigeria to be part of the program.

Those who cannot be on the Camp Ground pphysically would be able to participate in the program online through the Church’s social media platforms; radio and television stations in the country and through their presence at viewing centers that would be open throughout the program, all over the world.

On Monday, August 5, 2019, there will be ordination of Deacons and Deaconesses, House Fellowship Leaders and Workers meeting and the Church Council meeting; on Tuesday, August 6, 2019, there would be ordination of Assistant Pastors, APs and the Welcome Service; while on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 there will be Bible College Graduation; Mummy General Overseer, Pastor Mrs. Folu Adeboye’s meeting with Missionaries from all over the world and the Melody Hour of the Convention.

Thursday, August 8, 2019 will feature the Service of Songs of the program as well as the Deliverance Service; while there will be Bible Study, the Youth Hour and the Holy Ghost Service of the Convention on Friday, August 9, 2019.

There will be Baptism Services, Elders’ Meeting, Good Women Forum, Children’s Hour and Holy Communion Service on Saturday, August 10, 2019 while on Sunday, August 11, 2019, there will be ordination of Pastors and a Farewell (Thanksgiving) Service.

In between these services and meetings, there would also be Special Seminars, Group Seminars, and Plenary Sessions all designed to bless the congregation with different teachings on the Word of  God as well as teachings tailored to empower people with knowledge, especially in areas of health and business.

The Annual Conventions of the RCCG as well as all the other meetings feature high praises to God, soul lifting worship sessions, prevailing prayers and spectacular testimonies of Divine intervention.
