RCCG’s Special Holy Ghost Service continues today, Friday, March 5, 2021

The Special Holy Ghost Service of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) for year 2021, which started yesterday, Thursday, March 4, 2021 continues today with the Friday Holy Ghost Service.

The General Overseer of the Church, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, will be  ministering on the theme of the program, “God Bless You Part 3” with sub-theme: “I Will Lift Up My Eyes”.

This year’s marks the 35th Anniversary of the commencement of the program which has grown spectacularly in attendance, popularity and impact on the lives of people all over the world.

The Service continues tomorrow, Saturday, March 6, 2021 with the Holy Communion Service and ends with Thanksgiving Service on Sunday, March 7, 2021.

Day one of the Special Holy Ghost Service, Thursday, was anchored by youths and young adults with Pastor Adeboye pronouncing blessings at the end of the ministrations.

The Holy Ghost Services, according to Pastor Adeboye, started when God asked him what he wanted as a birthday present  and he answered that he wanted blessings for all the members of the Church. God then asked him to gather the members in one location for a program and thus started the Holy Ghost Services that hold every first Friday of every month.

Since then, the program has grown in popularity in Nigeria and across the world with testimonies of diverse miracles, signs and wonders.

The Special Holy Ghost Service every year coincides with the birthday of Pastor Adeboye and in recent years, the Marathon Messiah praise has been added to the program with music ministers from all over the world praising and worshiping GOD in celebration of the life and ministry of Pastor Adeboye, while the Solemn Assembly, a time of intensive Bible Study, prayers and meditation on the teachings by the General Overseer precedes the Special Holy Ghost Services.

The sessions of the Special Holy Ghost Service are beamed live to the whole world on the Church’s social media platforms, on YouTube, Dove Media and other designated platforms.
