As 2019 general elections draw closer, the member representing Jere Federal constituency, Hon. Ayuba Bello has declared his intention to run for a second term come 2019 so as to consolidate his developmental projects.
Declaring his ambition at the Barwee Hotels Maiduguri, Hon. Ayuba Bello said “on assumption of office, I immediately swung into action by soliciting for employment opportunities to the graduates in my constituency into Federal Ministries, Deportment and Agencies, where we secured jobs for many of them.”
Hon. Ayuba said in 2016 he gave scholarships to more than 250 students of tertiary institutions in the constituency, in addition to the special scholarships he offered to law school students within his constituency among other projects.
He said that if re-elected, he is going to consolidate on his achievements by working hand in hand with the Jere local government area leadership and the Borno state government.
In order to consolidate on the peace already gained in the state, he said his office organized a workshop on peace in collaboration with the Institute of Peace and Conflict Resolution aimed at complimenting the relentless effort of the Military and Borno state government to restore peace to the region.
He called on the members of the constituency to support his second term ambition so that they can get more dividends of democracy and assured that if re-elected they will continue to get quality representation at the National Assembly.
