Super Eagles winger, Samuel Chukwueze, is expected to leave AC Milan this summer after struggling to make an impact since joining the club two seasons ago.
The 26-year-old, who has scored eight goals and provided six assists in 69 appearances for the Rossoneri, has mostly played from the bench. So far this year, he has only managed 283 minutes of action for Milan.
Despite working hard in pre-season under new coach Massimiliano Allegri, Chukwueze’s future at the club remains uncertain.
Recently, he has been linked with Spanish La Liga clubs like Mallorca, Real Betis, and Real Sociedad, as well as English Premier League side Fulham. However, none of these clubs has made an official move.
Italian journalist Luca Bianchin of Gazzetta dello Sport has confirmed Fulham’s interest but says no negotiations have started with Milan yet.
“Fulham remain interested in Chukwueze… But no negotiations yet,” Bianchin wrote.
Chukwueze is valued at €10 million on Transfermarkt, making him an affordable target for Fulham. However, there are concerns about whether he can deliver in England after his struggles in Italy.
With Fulham looking for reinforcements ahead of the new season, a transfer could still happen in the coming days.
