Senate President, Bukola Saraki, has appointed Senator Isa Galaudu and Alhaji Yusuph Adesola Olaniyonu as Chief of Staff and Special Adviser, Media respectively. The appointments were the first of his senior aides that Senator Saraki would approve since his emergence as the Senate President on June 9. A statement signed by the Deputy Clerk to the National Assembly, Benedith Efeturi, said the appointments take immediate effect. Galaudu of the represented Kebbi North Senatorial Constituency of Kebbi State. He was elected Senator between 2011 and 2015. Olaniyonu, a former Editor in Thisday Newspapers, is the immediate past Commissioner for Information in Ogun State.
