Soccer legends, Nollywood stars storm Owerri as Ihedioha steps into office

It was fun all the way as some of the most popular Nollywood film stars in Nigeria and celebrated soccer icons stormed Owerri, the Imo State capital for a novelty football match organised as part of the activities lined up for the inauguration of the Governor-Elect, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha.

Those that put smiles on the faces of all present include former soccer stars, Kanu Nwankwo, Henry Nwosu, Uche Okechukwu, Peter Rufai, Etim Esim, Mutiu Adepoju, Mobi Oparaku, Samson Siasia and Victor Ikpeba as well as Nollywood greats like Kanayo O. Kanayo, Charles Awurum, Victor Osuagwu, Emeka Ike, Osita Iheme, Tchidi Chikere, among others.

Music legend, Onyeka Onwenu, and youthful star singer NAETO C are performing as part of the program at Inauguration Banquet while an intellectual feast in the form of an Inaugural Lecture, are all to usher Hon. Ihedioha into office.
