Alex Iwobi, Ademola Lookman, Joe Aribo and nine other Eagles have arrived camp for the international friendly game between Nigeria and Portugal on November 17, 2022.
The eleven Eagles in camp as at 7:30pm on Monday November 14 are assistant captain Williams Troost-Ekong, Alex Iwobi, new invitee Bright Onyemaechi, Kelvin Akpoguma and Oghenekaro Etebo.
Others are Rivers United FC defender Ebube Duru, Nottingham Forest forward Emmanuel Dennis, red-hot Genk striker Paul Onuachu, Ademola Lookman, Calvin Bassey and Southampton’s Joe Aribo.
The Super Eagles Head Coach, Jose Paeiro, was supposed to lead the Eagles out for the first training session today (Monday) at 8pm Nigeria Time.
More Eagles are expected to hit camp tomorrow, Tuesday, with Peseiro expecting a full house before the end of the day.
Against Portugal, Nigeria will miss the services of Napoli forward Victor Osimhen who is out with injury.
Orlando Pirates defender Olisa Ndah is also out of the team with Peseiro handing invitations to Cyril Dessers and Chidozie Awaziem as replacements.
The game between Nigeria and Portugal will take place on Thursday November 17 at the Estadio Jose Alvalade in Lisbon Portugal with kick-off billed for 7:45pm Nigerian time.
For the Eagles, it is just another friendly game to prepare for future engagements, but their opponents Portugal will use the game as part of preparations for the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup.
