PLO Lumumba, Amb. Joy Ogwu, Archbishop Duncan Williams, others for launch of Strategic Global Mentorship initiative tomorrow, January 1, 2022 (See webinar link below)




Celebrated anti-corruption crusader and pan-Africanist per excellence, Professor Loch Otieno (PLO) Lumumba, will be the Keynote Speaker at the official launch of the Strategic Global Mentorship (SGM) program tomorrow, January 1, 2022.
The program, which will be chaired by former Foreign Affairs Minister of Nigeria, first woman Permanent Representative of Nigeria to the United Nations (UN) and former Director General of the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs (NIIA), Professor Joy Ogwu, will be Virtual and coordinated from Ottawa, Canada, where the Convener, Ambassador Aminu Wisdom is based.
With the theme: “Our World, Our Future: Take Action, Take Ownership,” the initiative has been endorsed by international figures such as Archbishop Nicholas Duncan Williams of Ghana, Ambassador Ade Ashekun, Nigerian High Commissioner to Canada, Mr. Patrick Brown, the Mayor of Brampton, Ontario, Canada and Reverend Fathers George Ehusani and Anselm Adodo among others.
The initiative, which is aimed at mentoring and raising young leaders who are strategically equipped with the tools to tackle the challenges of today and tomorrow’s world, selfless leaders who can be the change agents needed to positively impact the world, will be officially launched by Professor Lucian Obinna Chukwu, the Deputy Vice Chancellor of the University of Lagos (UNILAG), Nigeria.
There will be Goodwill Messages from such dignitaries as MP Marie-France Lalonde of Orleans, Ontario Canada, Ambassador Ade Ashekun, Nigerian High Commissioner to Canada, Ambassador Dr. Amina Smaila, Nigeria’s Consul General in Atlanta and Mayor Patrick Brown of the City of Brampton, Canada
There will also be interventions by leadership experts, such as Ambassador Dr. Humphrey Orjiako, Nigeria’s former Permanent Representative to the United Nations Office in Geneva, Dr. Mrs. Stella C. Wisdom, Reverend Fathers George Ehusani and Anselm Adodo (Nigeria), Barrister Sele Adesina (SAN), Francois Lupien (Canada), Stephane Joanis (USA), Dr. Femi Makinde (Nigeria) and Pastor Abraham Ojeme of The Builders Forum.
Coming on the same day as the birthday of the visioner, Ambassador Aminu Wisdom, the Masters of Ceremony for the highly anticipated training program will be Chief Diran Onifade and Mrs. Ebun Oladejo, while Chief Dr. Jibril Aku, a Member of the Governing Council will give the Vote of Thanks to round off the event.
