Tinubu, with walking stick, visits Buhari in London; President’s son weds August 20
National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has paid a visit to President Muhammadu Buhari in London.
President Buhari went to London to attend an international Education funding Summit as well as to keep a medical check-up appointment that had been earlier rescheduled.
Tinubu, on the other hand was rumored to have taken ill and gone through surgery. There had been speculations that he was in a hospital in Maryland, United States of America till the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu paid him a visit in London and returned to announce that the former Governor of Lagos State was in good health in London.
The pictures that surfaced online of Tinubu’s visit to Buhari, however, showed the one-time Senator, who is
strongly believed to be eyeing the nation’s presidency in 2023 with a walking stick. He has never been known to use such a stick before now.
It is not clear when exactly the President or the APC national leader will return to the country.
