For the children and grandchildren, other family members, brethren, in-laws, friends and associates of late Chief Mrs. Christina Oluwatoyin Olanrewaju-Adeshina (nee Fadugba), Sunday, April 9, 2023, was a day of fond memories, as they held a 10th year remembrance ceremony for their departed Matriarch in New Jersey, United States of America (USA).
The program started off with Thanksgiving by the family at the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Dominion Cathedral, Orange, New Jersey. The family danced forward with relatives and friends to give thanks to God for how He has helped them since the departure of their mother 10 years ago. Senior Pastor of the Church, Pastor (Dr.) Toyin Laoye prayed fervently for the family and anointed them for the journey ahead.
After the Service, all roads led to Lake Chateau Banquets in North Woodbridge, New Jersey, where a well-attended Reception was held in honour of the beloved Matriarch. Some tears were shed upon recollection of her sterling qualities and many shared glowing testimonies of her generosity of spirit and love for all.
There was much to eat and drink, and lots of dancing, back slapping and merry making, all in appreciation and celebration of how well the family has fared since late Chief Mrs. Oluwatoyin Olanrewaju-Adeshina (nee Fadugba) left them 10 years ago.
Pictures here show some of the personalities that graced the well organised reception over which the children of the departed mother and grandmother received plenty of kudos.
