Governor Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar of Bauchi state has commended President Muhammadu Buhari for nominating Malam Adamu Adamu as a Minister, stressing that “the nomination is yet another indication of the nominee’s high estimation not only in Bauchi state, but also in the country.”
In a press statement signed by the Governor which was made available to newsmen in the state, Governor Abubakar added that the government and people of Bauchi state are confident in the nominee’s ability and capability to justify the confidence reposed in him by President Buhari.
The Governor described Malam Adamu Adamu as “a respected academic and social crusader who is well known” and who will surely “discharge his ministerial responsibilities” creditably.
He called on the distinguished Senators from Bauchi state and other stakeholders to rally round Malam Adamu Adamu as he joins other eminent Nigerians to move the nation to another level of excellence.
Governor Abubakar then assured that Malam Adamu will certainly partner with other Nigerians especially,”in this era of Change, Re-engineering and Reformation of Nigeria.”
