APC Rally: Tambuwal commends Wamakko

Speaking in Kware town at the flag off of the party’s campaign for the next Saturday’s  bye election for the Kware/Wamakko Federal Constituency seat, Tambuwal said Senator Wamakko was providing credible leadership for the APC in the state and must be commended for the invaluable gesture.

The governor said Sokoto State had continued to be a role model and a pacesetter in the  country because of Senator Wamakko’s good leadership qualities.

His words, ” unity between leaders is very crucial to the unity of the state and that of Nigeria, by extension .”

He also appealed to all the registered voters to come out en masse and vote for the party, come next Saturday.

Tambuwal described the party’s flag bearer in the polls, Alhaji Ahmed Abdullahi Kalambaina, as humble, disciplined and law abiding.

In his speech, the state Chairman of the party, Alhaji Suleiman Usman Danmadamin Isa described Kalambaina as, ” trustworthy, reliable and well groomed by Senator Wamakko,  politically .”

The state Treasurer of the party and its campaign coordinator for Sokoto Central Senatorial District, Alhaji Muntari Maigona, described Kware/Wamakko Federal Constituency as the home and base of APC.

” Senator Wamakko has laid a formidable foundation for the party in the state and the people of the area will massively vote for its candidate come next Saturday,”Maigona stated.

Other speakers at the event expressed confidence that the party will win the forthcoming poll with a landslide victory.

They were Alhaji Kabiru Tafida, the Director-General of Kalambaina’s campaign organization, Alhaji Bello Haliru Gwiwa, APC Chairman in Wamakko Local Government, Alhaji Bello Bado, as well as the Chairman of Kware Local Government, Alhaji Abubakar Shehu Zamau.

The ceremony was attended by Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, Deputy Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Aliyu, former Deputy Governor, Alhaji Chiso Abdullahi Dattijo, members of state and national assemblies, as well as members of the state executive council.

Others were the Secretary to the State Government, Professor Bashir Garba, former Secretary to the State Government and Nigeria’s Ambassador to Tanzania, Alhaji Sahabi Isa Gada, former Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Muhammadu Maigari Dingyadi,  as well as several other party chieftains, among others.
