2023: Kaduna Labour Party guber candidate promises human capital development

Mr. Shunom Adinga, Labour Party (LP) governorship candidate in Kaduna State, says he will  prioritise  human capital development if elected as the state governor in 2023.

Adinga disclosed this on Sunday while addressing newsmen at a consultation visit to the party’s office in Kaduna.

He said as a Human Resource Expert, his reason for vying for the gubernatorial seat on the platform of the LP was because the party is labour-based.

“It is possible to harness our immense human resources in collaboration with the Labour Unions in Kaduna state.

“Our partnership with unions and the general public in Kaduna state is strategic because governance is all about the people,” Adinga added.

According to him, his administration will focus on community co-operative governance with legislative right to traditional institutions.

“I shall achieve this by engaging the enlightened stakeholders in the state to review logically and ideologically, what we stand to gain in democracy and its impact on our local content.”

Adinga noted that the corporate strategy of governance which prioritised human capital development, defined the objective, purpose and goals vital to government.

“My goal is to pursue economic and human organisations in all areas of Private-Public Partnership (PPP) for peace, progress and profits.

“I will review laws and regulations and set out the required framework for private sector participation in public development and specify the necessary approvals required for PPP and the Procurement Act,” he said.

He also mentioned that his administration would provide a clear policy and regulatory framework for PPP, transparency and fairness in resolving disputes and security challenges.

“We will create innovative activities that will attract especially, youths’ participation in waste management and local contents productions that will generate tax,”  Adinga said.
