Gov. Hope Uzodinma of Imo has inaugurated Interim Management Committee (IMC) Chairmen for the 27 Local Government Areas of the state.

Uzodinma, while performing the inauguration on Thursday in Owerri, said that the appointments followed a directive from the Imo Assembly, urging him to appoint the IMC chairmen.

The governor had earlier announced the appointment of the IMC chairmen and said that other members of the committees would be announced soon.

He urged the committee chairmen to show capacity in governance especially at this moment of global health challenge.

Uzodinma also urged them to run open door administration as well as carry everybody in their areas along.
