The family of Chief Hon. Sir Lawrence Onwu (KSM, JP) of Umuakagu Nsu, Ehime Mbano Local Government Area of Imo State, Nigeria has announced the demise of their wife, mother, sister, aunt, niece and grandmother, Chief Lady Nneoma Sussan Onwu (LSM).
Chief Lady Onwu, a devout Catholic women leader, philanthropist and much loved community leader passed on at 84 years and in her honor, a Novena Mass would be held on Friday, November 6, 2020 from 5:00 pm.
On Saturday, November 7, 2020 the body would depart Aladinma Hospital Mortuary, Owerri , Imo State at 7:00 am for a brief stop at her Maiden home, Umeze Umunumo Mbano.
At 8:30 am, there would be a brief Reception at Ahaoma Ka Ubah Hall, Umuakagu-Nsu before body lies-in-state at her husband’s Trinity Country Home, Umuakagu-Nsu.
From 11:00 am, there would be a Requiem Mass at Our Lady of Fatima Pro-Cathedral, Umuakagu-Nsu before Internment at the Trinity Country Home at 1:00 pm.
An Outing Mass would hold on Sunday, November 8, 2020 at Our Lady of Fatima Pro-Cathedral, Umuakagu-Nsu.
Left to mourn Chief Lady Onwu are Chief Hon. Sir Lawrence Onwu (KSM, JP) husband, Mrs. Kate Emerem (nee Onwu), Chief Dan Onwu (Ikeoha), CSP Patrick Onwu, Eddie Onwu, Eze Onwu, Lolo Ijeoma Abanihi (nee Onwu) and son-in-laws, daughter-in-laws, grand children and other relatives and well wishers world-wide.
