Over 40,000 persons were thrilled to scintillating Carol renditions and Worship sessions at the 2022 Akwa Ibom State Christmas Carol Festival.
This year’s edition of the Christmas Carol Festival took place on Friday December 16, 2022, at the Ibom Hall Ground and had as its theme “Go forward.”
To thrill the gathering with high praise and worship were renowned gospel artistes Sinach, EBEN, Bishop Hezekiah Walker, Buchi, Sonie Badu, Davasol Brothers, Aity Dennis and Jonathan Nelson while US-based Ronkie Adesokan performed alongside Nathaniel Bassey.
For Nathaniel Bassey, it was also a moment to get due honour on home soil. The Gospel minister was decorated by the Akwa Ibom State Governor with an Emmanuel Music Award plaque plus a cash prize of 10,000 dollars.
Pastor David Ibiyieome, founder of Port Harcourt-based Salvation Ministry Worldwide, delivered the exhortation at the Akwa Ibom State Government powered event, the last that will be hosted by the out-going Udom Emmanuel led administration.
