Dr Ibrahim Liman, the Action Democratic Party (ADP) Governorship Candidate in Sokoto State, on Thursday pledged to run a youth friendly government, if elected.

Liman, who made the promise at the party’s campaign rally in Sokoto, said his manifesto is geared toward the empowerment and revival of skills that would give people more opportunity to become self-reliant.

“In ADP, we tell people what we have for them not to deceive them with what is not possible to fulfill.

“Our party is the right party for youths, being a new party designed to tackle the numerous challenges bedeviling our country,’’ he said.

He pledged to provide conducive atmosphere for learning, address security challenges, improve the standard of agriculture and boost the economy, among others.

Liman appreciated the people of the state for their support to the party and show of love to his aspiration toward changing the system of governance in the state.

Earlier, Alhaji Nasiru Sarkin-Larabawa, the state ADP Chairman, called on people of the state to support all the party’s candidates to have the best leaders whose ambition is to ensure a great future for the country.

Sarkin-Larabawa urged the party supporters to sustain more awareness on the good qualities of the ADP candidates for them to succeed.
