22 Nigeria Super Eagles players on Tuesday evening trained at the National Stadium in Abuja ahead of the AFCON qualifiers against Guinea-Bissau.
22 players have now arrived camp, with Victor Osimhen the latest to check in while FC Porto left-back Zaidu Sanusi is still expected in camp for Coach Jose Peseiro to have a full house.
Nigeria and Guinea-Bissau will lock horns over two-legs in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. The first leg will hold in Nigeria on Friday March 24, 2023 while the second leg takes place on Monday March 27.
Nigeria holds a perfect record in the qualifying series and will secure qualification for the 2023 AFCON with wins over Guinea-Bissau.
In the Eagles camp on Tuesday, skipper of the team Ahmed Musa superintended over the induction of first time Super Eagles invitees.
Bruno Onyemaechi, Victor Sochima, Daniel Bameyi and Kingsley Aniagboso all took part in the induction rites as the Eagles enjoyed moments off the training pitch.
