President Tinubu returns after two-day state visit to Qatar

President Bola Tinubu has concluded a two-day State visit to Qatar, following an invitation from the Emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
Tinubu returned to Abuja on Monday, March 4, 2024 and was received at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport by senior government officials, including Vice President Kashim Shettima .
Among the dignitaries present were Hon Femi Gbajabiamila, Chief of Staff to the President; Chief Nyesom Wike, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT); Dr Abdullahi Ganduje, National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and Yusuf Bichi, Director General of the Department of State Services (DSS).
During his visit to Doha, President Tinubu engaged with the highest authorities of Qatar, led by Sheikh Al Thani, and participated in the Nigeria-Qatar Business and Investment Forum. Several bilateral agreements were signed, covering areas such as education, enterprise development, investment promotion, youth empowerment, mining, tourism, and sports.
Addressing the Qatari business community at the forum, President Tinubu highlighted the vast investment opportunities in Nigeria, emphasizing the promising returns on investment. He assured them of his administration’s commitment to making Nigeria an attractive destination for investors worldwide.
