Gospel music sensation, Dunsin Oyekan, shuts down New York; Pastor Adeboye graces ‘Outpouring Concert’
Celebrated Gospel Music icon, Nigerian-born Dunsin Oyekan, literally shut down New York, United States of America (USA) yesterday, Sunday, June 23, 2024.
His “Outpouring” concert, in the City that never sleeps, was sold out as a capacity crowd of mostly youth worshippers thronged the UBS Arena venue of the event, singing and dancing, praising and worshipping God, and praying fervently for divine intervention.
The incredible concert was also graced by the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, his wife, Pastor (Mrs.) Folu Adeboye, the Continental Overseer of RCCG The Americas 1, Pastor James Fadel and his wife, Pastor Manita, and other senior Pastors of the Church in the tri-state area (New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania).
Pastor Adeboye, who rounded off the 2024 Convention of RCCG The Americas 1 in Texas, on Friday, June 21, 2024, and who had been at the maiden Conference of RCCG The Americas 2 at Canada just before Texas, blessed the worshippers with the word of God and when he made the altar call, there was a huge harvest of souls.
The internationally highly Cleric prayed fervently for Dunsin Oyekan and all those who participated in the superlatively successful concert.
He confirmed that getting to the venue of the event was hectic for him and his entourage, due to the unusually heavy traffic in the City, apparently caused by the massive attendance recorded at the program.
Besides the gospel music super star, the global Music Director of the RCCG, ace Saxophonist, Pastor Kunle Ajayi and youth music groups, especially university students also ministered at the unprecedentedly successful event that will continue to be the talk of the town for a long time to come.
Overwhelmed with joy at the success at the event, Dunsin Oyekan gushed on his X (former Twitter) handle: “To the One who alone does Great wonders, The One who sends and backs me up! ALL. GLORY TO HIM FOREVER AND. EVER! THE OUTPOURING NEWYORK!!! GOD DID! PS: GOD CAN BE TRUSTED!”
