Fagbemis elevated to 4th Degree of the Honoured and Noble Order of Knights of St. Mulumba

Saturday, July 6, 2024, was a day of great joy for the Lagos and Ibadan Metropolitan Councils of the Knights of St. Mulumba Nigeria as they hosted the Supreme Knight of the Order Sir (Dr) Charles Mbelede, and the Noble President Lady Anthonia Ngozi Obah at St. Leo’s Catholic Church, Ikeja, Lagos. The duo were around to confer the 4th degree (the apex Degree) of the Order on deserving Brothers and their wives.
Among the newly invested 4th degree Knights are husband and wife, Obasanjo John Fagbemi and Sandra Mbagwu-Fagbemi who serve as Metropolitan Advocate and Lady Metropolitan Advocate respectively in the Lagos Metropolitan Council of the Oder.
Other notable investees include the Lagos Metropolitan Public Relations Officer, Sir Dominic Nwaopara, Sub Council Grand Knights drawn from the Lagos and Ibadan Metropolitan Councils, and Sir and Lady Anthony Idigbe SAN KSS.
The Order of the Knights of St. Mulumba is an order of Lay Knighthood in the Catholic Church. It draws its membership from Nigeria and Cameroon. It was founded on the 14th of June 1963 by Father Anslem Isidahome Ojefua on the directive of the Catholic Bishops Conference of Nigeria. Its purpose is to defend the Catholic Faith, render spiritual, intellectual, financial and other material aid to the church, propagate the Catholic Faith, and engage in acts of charity while building fellowship within families and likeminded Christian organizations
It was, indeed, a colorful ceremony with all the Knights and Ladies in their attires and the Clergy, relatives, friends and associates of those being honoured in full attendance.
We congratulate the couple, who are both distinguished legal practitioners, and their co-investees on their spiritual elevation.

Pictures show some of the personalities at the joyful ceremony.
