RCCG’s Pastor Adeboye electrifies Liberia

The General Overseer (G.O) of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye was in Liberia for a hugely successful Light Up Crusade that took place at the SKD Sports Stadium, Paynesville, Monrovia on Thursday, July 18 and Friday, July 19, 2024.
Huge ecstatic crowds of worshippers turned out for the two-day “Light Up Liberia” Crusade, with the theme, “Let There Be Light.” Pastor Adeboye, accompanied by his wife, Pastor (Mrs.) Folu Adeboye, ministered, alongside other ministers of God from Liberia and Nigeria.
The program, which was part of the ‘Reach for Christ’ evangelical initiative that has taken the Light Up Crusades to different countries and continents of the world, was organised by an interdenominational coalition of Christian Churches in Liberia, and featured praise, worship and prayer sessions, as well as deliverances.
Pastor Adeboye ministered the word to the multitude, based on the story of the Blind man in Mark 8:22-25 and made prophetic declarations as he ministered. The altar call he made thereafter, saw a big stream of souls coming forward to surrender their lives to Jesus Christ.
When the highly respected Cleric, who revealed to the crowd of worshippers during his ministration that he had earlier visited the President of Liberia, Joseph Nyumah Boakai, asked the mammoth crowd to put on the torch lights of their mobile phones and wave same as they prayed, the entire stadium turned to a sea of lights, from one end of the arena to the other, signifying, literally and spiritually, the lighting up of the lives of the individuals, the lighting up of their families and the lighting up of Liberia.
