RCCG’s 74th Annual Convention kicks off Monday, August 3, 2026; Theme: MOUNTAIN MOVERS
All is set for the beginning of the 74th Annual Convention of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) which has as theme, Mountain Movers.
The Convention will commence Monday, August 3, 2026, by 12:00 noon at the Redemption City of God, Km 46 Lagos – Ibadan Expressway, Asese, Ogun, Nigeria and will end on Sunday, August 9, 2026, at 03:00 PM.
Ministering at the programme will be the General Overseer of the Church, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye and other anointed ministers of God from different parts of the world and from different ministries.
Many worshippers from all over the world are already in the Redemption City of God, ready for the Welcome Service that would officially flag off the Convention. Many of the Ministers of the RCCG from various parts of the world have also been in the Redemption City for the Ministers’ Conference that precedes the Convention.
Those that would be ordained Deacons and Deaconesses, Assistant Pastors and Full Pastors are also either already in the City or getting set to arrive to be part of the preparation for their ordinations. There would also be other activities during the Convention, including natural group meetings and seminars, all of which will enrich participants.
As the RCCG new year will also be commencing, reports of the breakthroughs being recorded by the different Continents would likely be presented, and major policy decisions will also be announced by the General Overseer after meetings of the leadership of the mega Church.
Very importantly, there would, as always, be intense prayer sessions, great praise and worship, in-depth study of the Word of God and prophetic declarations. There will equally be testimonies of God’s faithfulness, shared by worshippers, both online and onsite.
A Holy Communion Service, a Deliverance Night and the Holy Ghost Service of the Convention will also feature prominently.
Top government officials, political leaders, business executives and other prominent personalities from across the world are expected to grace the Convention, which will be rounded off on Sunday, August 9, 2026 with a Thanksgiving Service,
While millions of onsite worshippers are expected to participate in the Convention, many more, who are in very distant places or who for one reason or the other are not able to make it to the Redemption City of God will be able participate in the Services which will be livestreamed.
