Holy Ghost Service of 74th Convention of RCCG holds today, Friday; Theme – Mountain Movers
The Holy Ghost Service of the 74th Annual Convention of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), with the theme, Mountain Movers will hold today, Friday, August 7, 2026, with the General Overseer of the Church, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye and other anointed ministers of God ministering.
The Convention started on Monday, August 3, 2026, and already has the old auditorium filled to capacity and the new auditorium fast filling up with worshippers from all over the world. It will end on Sunday, August 9, 2026, with the thanksgiving service and ordination of full pastors.
The programme, which started with graduation of Bible College students on Monday, witnessed the ordination of Deacons, Deaconesses and Assistant Pastors, as well as the welcome service on Tuesday, and has continued with no dull moment.
Pastor Adeboye has ministered on such topics as From Grace to Grass, Free Indeed, and Battle Axe (an intense prayer and deliverance service yesterday). He has also assured that tonight’s ministration, which will be coming from the altar at the new auditorium, will be extra special.
Besides the sessions by the General Overseer, and other activities that have been taking place since the start of the programme, several senior Pastors, especially heads of other ministries in Nigeria and from abroad, have been conducting seminars on critical topics, all related to the central theme of the Convention, Mountain Movers.
Intensive prayers have been going, high praises and anointed worship sessions have been featuring, preaching of the Word of God have been on, while spectacular testimonies of the faithfulness of God are being shared by worshippers both on site and online.
The services are being livestreamed for the benefit of those who are too far away in different parts of the world, or those who for one compelling reason or the other cannot be physically present in the Redemption City of God on the Lagos/Ibadan Expressway.
All are expected at tonight’s Holy Ghost Service, but the General Overseer has counselled that those who want to get seats in the new auditorium should endeavour to arrive early as the old auditorium is already filled up and the new ultra-modern auditorium is already fast filling up.
