Media personality Do2dtun has expressed support for dancer and entertainer Poco Lee amid allegations against him in a UK court, saying he will continue to stand by the character he knows while allowing the legal process to take its course.
Do2dtun made his position known in a series of posts on X, where he described Poco Lee as one of the happiest and most positive people he had encountered in the entertainment industry.
He said the dancer was known for bringing joy into a room, avoiding fights and treating people with respect, but acknowledged that the allegations against him were serious and should be handled through due process.
“I hope Poco Lee beats this. Hate it or love it, I personally think he is one of the happiest people a lot of us have met,” Do2dtun wrote.
“He will fill the room with joy, never gets in a fight and respects everyone. The other vices he is accused of are serious and beyond comprehension. Let the law take its course, but I’ll continue to stand with what I know about him till he is proven guilty,” he added.
Do2dtun stressed that personal familiarity with someone did not mean their conduct behind closed doors could be completely vouched for.
He, however, said people who interact with others over time could identify behavioural patterns and form opinions based on their experiences.
“You can’t vouch for anyone, especially what they do behind closed doors, but you can identify patterns and what you have noticed with them. Poco is a good guy with a good heart,” he said.
The media personality also emphasised that his support for Poco Lee should not be interpreted as dismissing the feelings or claims of the alleged victim.
“I won’t judge him, but I won’t dismiss the alleged victim’s feelings. Everyone deserves a fair share of justice. If this is true, then let the law take its course,” Do2dtun stated.
He further said that anyone found guilty of such an offence should face the full weight of the law, underscoring the seriousness of the allegations.
Do2dtun also pointed to Poco Lee’s public conduct, saying that, to his knowledge, the entertainer had not previously been involved in a scandal.
“Let’s take into consideration that Poco never had one scandal till now. Not one,” he said, adding that the dancer was not known for disputes that affected his peace.
He described Poco Lee as “one of the most open-minded people in this industry” and said the entertainer generally preferred peace over confrontation.
Do2dtun said the case would be painful for everyone involved if Poco Lee were found guilty, but added that the alleged victim would be particularly affected if the claims were established.
He concluded that the outcome of the matter would provide lessons for everyone involved, while maintaining that the law should determine the facts and eventual outcome of the case.
