Peter Obi congratulates NDC leader, Seriake Dickson, on recognition as Politician of the Year

Presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr. Peter Obi, has congratulated the leader of the NDC and former two-term Governor of Bayelsa State, Senator Henry Seriake Dickson, on his recognition by Leadership Newspaper as Politician of the Year.

Mr. Obi, a former Governor of Anambra State, in a post on his X (formerly Twitter) platform, pointed out that “Senator Dickson is a seasoned politician and public servant whose experience cuts across party administration, the legislature, and the executive arm of government.”

He stressed that the honour bestowed on Dickson, the Senator currently representing Bayelsa West “is not only a testament to his years of service but will also further spur him to greater commitment as we work together towards building a political platform capable of offering Nigerians the leadership that is needed to move the country forward.”
