The All Progressives Congress (APC) leadership in Kano North Senatorial District has reaffirmed its commitment to the party and called on members to support all its candidates in the 2027 general elections.
The Zonal APC Chairman, Abdullahi Lamba-Bichi, made the call at a meeting with party stakeholders and members on Tuesday in Kano.
Lamba-Bichi urged party leaders, stakeholders and members across the senatorial district to remain united and loyal to the APC.
He said the party’s position was to support President Bola Tinubu, Gov. Abba Kabir-Yusuf, Sen. Barau Jibrin for Kano North Senatorial District and other APC candidates for the National and State Assemblies.
He urged members to uphold party discipline, unity, loyalty and respect for constituted authority.
The chairman warned that members found engaging in anti-party activities, factionalism or actions capable of undermining the party and its candidates would face disciplinary measures in accordance with the APC Constitution.
According to him, such measures may include suspension or expulsion where warranted.
Lamba-Bichi said that the commitment remained under the leadership of Sen. Barau Jibrin, Deputy President of the Senate and APC leader in Kano North Senatorial District.
He urged party members to work collectively to strengthen the APC and ensure its success at the 2027 elections.
He described the APC as one family and called on members to remain committed to the party’s objectives.
