Tension has gripped some communities in Ikwerre local government Area of Rivers state as suspected gunmen in Emohua Community have allegedly killed and beheaded a young man of 28 years in Mgbuitanwo.
The victim, simply identified as Mr. Ukeoma was abducted and later beheaded by the killers in the early hours of Thursday.
Mgbuitanwo is the community of Chief Andrew Uchendu, All Progressives Congress, APC, senatorial candidate for the March 19 rerun election.
The gunmen are said to have also abducted other residents of the area including a renowned politician from the same community .
Following the sad killing, the villagers are now running from pillar to post seeking refuge to avoid possible revenge or break down of law and other.
