All roads lead to the Nigerian Embassy, Washington DC, 3519 International Court, NW, Washington DC 20008 on Friday, September 13, 2019 from 3.30 pm to 6.30 pm, for the pre-charter membership enrollment for all Nigerian families and organizations towards the establishment of the Nigerian Federal Credit Union Bank (Nigerian FCU).
According to Dr. Kazeem Bello, the Chairman of the Steering Committee of the National Association of Nigerians in the United States of America (NANUSA), the organization driving the initiative, all arrangements have been concluded towards having a memorable enrolment flag-off at the Embassy.
The National Association of Nigerian Students in the United States of America, Nigerian professionals, groups and individuals from Nigeria have indicated interest in the project which is intended to empower Nigerian nationals, assist students and create employment for Nigerian nationals among other advantages.
It is expected that the Nigerian Community in the United States of America would turn out in large numbers at the event to learn more about the proposed Credit Union and support efforts towards its realization.
The full service membership owned financial institution is proposed to serve the Nigerian Community’s banking and financial service needs throughout the United States of America and render humanitarian services to its community upon commencement of operations.
The General Secretary of NANUSA, Dr. Eunice Ukwuani had announced to the media that Nigeria’s Ambassador to the United States of America, His Excellency Justice Sylvanus Nsofor will be the Chief Host at the Enrollment Flag Off Event program at the Nigerian Embassy, Washington DC, 3519 International Court, NW, Washington DC 20008 on Friday, September 13, 2019 from 3.30 pm to 6.30 pm.
All Nigerians and leaders of Nigerian organizations are, therefore, all invited to attend the Event.
