Jimbo said that through massive skills acquisition programmes, the youths stand a better chance to engage themselves economically and contribute to the development of economy.

He disclosed his intention to contest the 2023 general elections to contribute his quota to the development of his community.

“It’s time for the teeming Nigerian youths, especially those from Akwa Ibom State to prepare their mind-set ahead of 2023, when the youths are expected to be part of those who will choose their leaders.

“That’s why I am on a rescue mission. It’s a bold step to address injustices with youthful energy and innovative ideas.

“Election 2023 is a mission possible. It’s also a bold step to challenge what has hitherto been regarded as status quo. The youths empowerment is my target come 2023.

“This is Abak’s turn and I am glad at the the positive responses from the youths from Abak-five and the old Ikot Ekpene, who are now feeling the pains of ineffective representation,” Jimbo said.

Jimbo, a Quantity Surveyor and graduate of the University of Uyo, expressed displeasure that the the ineffective representation by the older generation was part of the current problems confronting the nation.
