Bayern Munich will face Real Madrid, while Liverpool take on AS Roma in the semifinals of the Champions League following the draw at UEFA’s headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland on Friday.
The first legs of the tie will be on April 24 and 25, with the return legs on May 1 and 2.
The clash between Liverpool and Roma would be a “rematch” of the 1984 European Cup final, which Liverpool won on penalties.
Jurgen Klopp’s side beat Manchester City 5-1 on aggregate to reach the last four.
Roma on the other hand, caused the biggest upset of the quarter-finals when they came back from losing the first leg to Barcelona 4-1 to win on away goals after winning the second leg 3-0.
Meanwhile, Bayern Munich are the last side to win the European Cup three years in a row between 1974 and 1976, and they now stand in Real Madrid’s way of the Spanish club trying to replicate that.
Real have won the tournament back-to-back for the past two years, making them the only club to have achieved the feat in the history of the champions league.
They reached the semi-finals by beating Juventus 4-3 on aggregate, while Bayern beat Sevilla 2-1.
