Obowo people in Imo State, Nigeria have endorsed Hon. Emeka Ihedioha, the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives as their choice for the governorship of Imo State come 2019 general elections.
The decision was taken at a stakeholders forum held in Lagos recently which had in attendance many big wigs from the Local Government Area.
The event, which saw many of the prominent sons and daughters of Obowo in attendance speaking glowingly of Hon. Ihedioha, and pledging support for his aspiration was rounded off with a luncheon hosted by Emma Okewulonu in his house in NICON Town Estate, Lekki, L agos.
