Following reports that the immediate past Minister of Petroleum Resources in the Goodluck Jonathan administration, Mrs Diezani Alsion-Madueke was died, the family has quickly moved to dispel the report.
Diezani has been battling breast cancer at a London hospital, where she was alleged to have died, Thursday afternoon.
The rumours of her death has already gone viral on social media, Thursday, even as the reports claim her body was being prepared to be flown back to Nigeria this Saturday from the United Kingdom, where she has been receiving treatment.
However, the family has moved to dismiss the reports, as it said the former minister is still alive.
“The report is untrue. She’s alive and well,” a family source said.
This is also as the family has reportedly begun holding a crucial meetings over her deteriorating health condition.
