Candle light gathering: Falana, Ayo Obe, Kila, Ifowodo, Arogundade, others celebrate late Adesanmi

The human rights community, pro-democracy activists, academics and other stakeholders held a candle light procession in Lagos in honor of late activist, writer and teacher, Professor Pius Adesanmi, one of 157 people that died on board the Ethiopian aircraft that crashed recently.

Among those that participated in the program were renowned Nigerian lawyer, Mr. Femi Falana, SAN, former President of the Civil Liberties Organisation, CLO, Ayo Obe, representative of the Delta State Government on the Board of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, poet and activist, Dr. Ogaga Ifowodo,  Director, International Press Center, IPC, Lagos, Mr. Lanre Arogundade and Prof. Anthony Kila.

Some other personalities who were present at the event are Mr. Arigbabu Sulaimon, Motunrayo Alaka, Mr. Olanrewaju Suraju and Mr. Inibele Effiong.
