Former Olympique D Marseille and Nigerian ex-International, Victor Okechukwu Agali, has thumbs up Carl Academy as one of the best football colleges he has been to in the country.
Agali, who featured in the Academy’s monthly ‘EX Internationals Visit’ described the Academy project as overwhelming and heartwarming and commended it’s world class structures and equipments.
Speaking after a tour of the Carl Academy and Football College, Agali said he lacked words to describe it.
The Ex international went ahead to have a one hour session in mentoring class with the students and encouraged them to be disciplined, focused and determined to make the best of the opportunity which people like him never had.
He told the students that many of Nigeria’s star players never had the opportunity of the basics being provided for them by Carl Academy and Football College.
He wished them well and said that he looks forward to seeing many of them become future stars.
He described Carl Academy and Football College as the right foundation where football and Academics are combined for their own good.
He later watched the boys (U16 & U13) play an exhibition match for him to round off the tour of the Carl Academy and Football College.
Agali, who lists Nice, Marsille, Toulon, Levadiakos, etc as his former clubs during his playing days thanked the proprietor, the management, and the students, and also wished them the best for their efforts in nurturing future stars.
