The Consulate General of Nigeria, New York, United States of America (USA) has suspended from tomorrow, Wednesday, June 1, 2022 all walk-ins for passport biometrics until further notice.
A statement by the Consulate General said that this means that any “applicants who come to the Consulate General for passport biometrics without appointments would not be attended to.”
This, the statement said, “is as a result of the recent system upgrade by the Nigeria Immigration Service.”
All applicants are therefore, “encouraged to book for biometric appointments on the Nigeria Immigration Service website (https://appointments.immigration.gov.ng/) and come to the Consulate on the appropriate dates,” the statement stressed.
