Accomplished lawyer and academic, 5th Director-General of the Nigerian Institute of Advanced Legal Studies and presently a Judge at the Commonwealth Arbitral Tribunal sitting in London, Professor Epiphany Azinge, SAN, will on November 15, 2022, be celebrated by Who is Who in Nigeria and beyond.
The occasion is the public presentation of his biography, “Azinge: Born to Serve,” which forum will also serve as the platform for the delivery of the 2022 Annual Lecture of the Epiphany Azinge Foundation Lecture by Minister of Works and Housing, Mr. Babatunde Raji Fashola, SAN on “Leadership and Service to Humanity.”
The events will take place at the Shehu Musa Yar’dua Center, Abuja from 11:00am, with Nigeria’s Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo SAN and the Deputy Senate President, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege as Special Guests of Honour.
To be chaired by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Mr. Boss Mustapha, other personalities listed as Special Guests of Honour are Governor of Delta State and Vice-Presidential candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Senator (Dr.) Ifeanyi Okowa, former Governor of Anambra State and Labour Party (LP) Presidential Candidate, Mr. Peter Obi and Governor of Rivers State, Chief Nyesom Wike.
Other Special Guests of Honour are Ondo State Governor, Chief Rotimi Akeredolu, SAN, Hon. Justice SMA Belgore, former Chief Justice of Nigeria and Abubakar Malami, SAN, Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice.
The book, “Azinge: Born to Serve,” will be reviewed by Ambassador Godknows Igali. The Book Presenter will be John Cardinal Onaiyekan, Archbishop Emeritus, Abuja Archdiocese while the Royal Father of the Day is HRM Prof. Chike Edoziem, the Asagba of Asaba.

Epiphany Azinge, SAN, who turns 65 on Sunday, November 13, 2022, currently represents Nigeria and Africa at the Commonwealth Arbitral Tribunal sitting in London and is the founder and senior partner at Azinge & Azinge, a law firm in Abuja where his wife Valerie Azinge, also a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), is a partner.
