National President of the union, Mr. Samson Ugwoke, who disclosed this Saturday at a press briefing in the country’s capital, Abuja, further disclosed that, following the presidential directive, that the National Salaries, Income and Wages Commission and the National Universities Commission (NUC) already have written letters terminating the appointment of the affected staff from 31 universities.
The SSANU President gave the Federal Government up to December 24, 2015 to reverse the decision or the union would embark on an indefinite strike over the issue.
