Evaluation report on MDAs, States of Nigeria for presentation tomorrow, Tuesday, September 28


The Center for Fiscal Transparency and Integrity Watch (CeFTIW), modeled after Transparency International (TI), has concluded assessment of 475 Federal Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs), the 36 States and 774 Local Governments of Nigeria and will present its report tomorrow, Tuesday, September 28, 2021.
The Center’s evaluation report will focus on the MDAs’ levels of disclosure on vital information, Accountability, Good governance, Transparency and levels of compliance with relevant national laws and international standards.
The Board of Trustees of the Center is made up of Professor Nelson Aluya, Dr. Udofia Obot, Barrister Ifeyinwa Angela Nworgu and Umar Yakubu.
The report presentation, which can be accessed via zoom, will take place at 5:00 AM EST; 2:00AM PST and 10:00 AM WAT (Lagos).
The programme has as its theme: MAKING IT EASY TO DO BUSINESS IN NIGERIA, The time is HERE; ACCOUNTABILITY IN NIGERIA.
