Noble Degree Exemplification 2018 of the Knights of St. Johns International, KSJI, New York Grand Commandary, was held on October 20, 2018 at St Josephs Roman Catholic Church Cathedral, Buffalo, New York.
Some members of the Knights of St Johns International District 680 Newark, New Jersey, were part of the recipients of the exalted Noble Order. They are: Noble Sirs Obinna Amadi, Joseph Ofodile, Chukwudi Okoli, Cyril Amadiegwu, Innocent Enwere (Omeudo), Hyacinth Ibeneme, Linus Ebere, V.Chinedu Duru and Barth Ezigbo
Some of the Supreme Officers who witnessed the event were: Lt Gen Thomas Zdanowicz (Supreme Secretary), Lt Gen Thomas DeLuca, Major Gen. Martin Bella, Brig. Gen. Dominick Pepe, Brig. Gen. Richard Morse and Gen Joseph Schmitt. Also a host of New York Officers, District 4 officers and delegates, past commandary Worthy Presidents, Commanders, friends and family members of the recipients graced the occasion.
The ceremony was officiated by The Most Rev. Bishop Richard J. Malone, Th.D, Bishop of Buffalo, New York. During the imposition, the Lord Bishop charged the new Noble brothers to be good servants of the Order and Humanity, and to pursue their calling with zeal and the grace of the Almighty.
While congratulating the Noble brothers, Noble Sir Charles Abiakwe a foremost member of the KSJI District 680 Newark, advised the Noble brothers that “as this is their final degree, they should be of exemplary character, be ready to guide the younger Knights aright and to galvanize other Knights towards the service and growth of the Oder.”
