All over the United States of America and beyond, Sunday, June 16, 2019 was celebrated as Father’s Day with much pomp and pageantry.

It was generally a day of joy for all as different programs were put in place to rejoice with fathers and men generally.

At the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Dominion Cathedral, New Jersey, the elaborate celebration was the grand finale of the Men of Valor (MOV) Week with the theme, A PURPOSE DRIVEN MAN, which started with Bible Study (Digging Deep) on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 and continued at the Joshua Conference (for men) on Friday and Saturday, June 14 and 15, 2019 at Baymont Inn & Suites By Wyndham at 140 Route 23 North Pompton Plains, NJ 07444.

The Conference/Retreat had as Guest Minister, Pastor Austin Ukaiwe, Pastor-in-charge of Province, RCCG Victory House, Festac Town, Lagos Nigeria. Pastor Dr. Toyin Laoye, Assistant Regional Pastor, RCCG North America Region 6 and Pastor-in-charge of RCCG NA Province 2, Dominion Cathedral, was the perfect Host.

Besides prevailing prayers and life transforming messages, there was a financial talk, a health and wellness expose, family enrichment panel discussion, and a Bowling session.

Joy overflowed at the Father’s Day Thanksgiving services, which had the men officiating in the Word, at the Choir stand and in a very instructive drama presentation. Glory be to God!

A representative of Governor Phil Murphy was part of the joy filled services which were rounded off with a sumptuous lunch provided by the Good Women Fellowship of the Church.
